Ashti and Damien 16 May 2009
Last Saturday I had a wedding shoot of the lovely couple Ashti and Damien.
I had not met Ashti in person before, so I was extra excited!
I was booked for one hour (but as always I arrived earlier and stay longer on my shout
to get some extra ones. (Can’t help myself can I? )
The wedding shoot (formals) were planned for 4.45 – 5.45pm. I arrived 4.30 and lucky me, I got to see The Kiss.
So romantic! I love my job so incredibly much!
I saw Ashti wearing a short chocolate coloured designer dress. A bit different looking to the traditional white dresses.
But when I saw Ashti I immediately thought: Yep that suits her, young and perky. Happy and light.
She was looking most gorgeous. Damien was wearing a similar coloured matching suit.
What a totally handsome and gorgeous looking couple this was.
A little girl (7 ish years old?) popped up in a red dress with a bright white parasol in her hands. How adorable! So cute, front teeth gone, so she must be about 7-8 I reckon.
And another one! about 3 years old. This must be their little girl.
Snap snap snap… whilst family was snapping away on them signing the register I took the two flower girls and took some photos of them.
A little 3 months old baby boy showed up, a little version of Damien! how cute. He was wearing a little suit and looked just like his dad but than in a smaller version.
Snap snap snap… Ofcourse. Babies are so cute.
Back to the table to get one or two register signing shots. (Ashti knew I would show up earlier
).
Their family and friends were dying to hugh them.
Family and friends are very important and they can’t wait to share a photograph with eachother. So we let them snap away for about 15 mins. And having drinks.
Now it was my turn. We spent about 60 minutes on a very successful photoshoot.
Grandma was there and I took this opportunity to take a 4 generations shot.
How incredibly gorgeous are these two looking. Young and at the beginning of their lives together with a lovely family already built up.
I can not wait until my photos are developed so I can show them off to them two. This process (along with my other photoshoots) will take approx one week, two weeks.
It’s a smallish – meduim sized shoot so I have planned in one week for it.
Keep you updated.
Love,
Joyce
